McCall's game!

A bunch of us got together to watch McCall play basketball. It was so much fun. I'm sorry that it was her last one, and that I didn't go to more of them when I had a chance.

Draper Temple

Dustin and I went to the Draper temple open house together. It was wonderful!

Soldier's Hollow

We found the safest way to go tubing: Soldier's Hollow. You grab a tube, they pull you up the mountain on a pulley system, and then you go down the run. No trees, no big bumps, ..... it kind of took the adventure out of it. I think it would have been a LOT more fun if it had been about 20 degrees warmer. (Dustin doesn't like this picture very much. .... It doesn't look like him.)

Christmas projects

I had a couple of projects this Christmas. I made a story with a bag of items to go with it for about 90 girls in the ward (and I got them all delivered with Dustin's help and amazing navigation skills).
I made stockings with stickers and candy for all of my students, and I made a Christmas rag quilt.
Out of all of this I got that I need kids. (On second thought, I'm not sure that would stop me from projects, it would simply change their nature.)

My Politically correct birthday snowman

Ok, so I used to have this tradition of making a snowman cake for my birthday, and I haven't done that for years. So this year what I really felt like was a sugar free pumpkin pie without the crust. SO I made a couple of pie fillings without crust in cake pans and put them together to make this snowman. (It tasted amazing.) I feel that it is politically correct and a sign of my wisdom as I get older.
The other cake was an eggnog cake with a caramel/eggnog frosting. I took it to the Christmas party, however, with all of the wonderful things to eat no one ever tried it. I ended up throwing it away.
